this song was for his exgrilfriend... who btw cheated on him and that is why he wrote the song. he is talking about how much he loved her and how she through it all out the window, according to her they are now just friends, but if you really pay attention to the song, he makes it sound as if they are not friends. the lyrics (A bleeding heart and conquer every crutch., I said I love you as I left you.
