This is just a song about watching your parents grow old. It's your typical Jerry song. It could be just a country song but it's left ambiguous enough to where you can make your own story. I always thought this song was just OK till I saw Jerry sweetly do it at Buckeye Lake. And my old man was growing older at the time. When dad died, the first thing I did when I could get alone was play it and cry my eyes out. One of the best, I think now. |
