ohmygod, i can't believe only one person commented on this. this is such a beautiful song. the acoustic version is so much better than the original. i think that she is afraid to fall in love, so she tells this guy (probably a close friend) that they can hang out and there will be 'benefits', but she is warning him not to fall in love with her. maybe she has had really bad experiences in the past with a relationship and she just wants a relationship with this guy, just without all of the complications. <3 |

i love this song, the music video gives me chills. beyonce has some kick-ass vocals and this song really shows it. im not sure what these lyrics are supposed to mean: "If I were a boy, I would turn off my phone Tell everyone that it's broken So they'd think that I was sleeping alone" thanks :) |
