Suicide Season was terrible. IMO. It sounded way too much like every other metalcore band out there and greatly deviated from their "deathcore" roots. I caught them for the 5th time when they toured with Architects, and honestly, if people didn't know any better they'd think they were listening to the same band play twice. But, this is just my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own. I'm just more into their old sound. I do find this song more appealing than anything off Suicide Season. If most of the new album stays like this, I'll be pleased. Their greatest release to date will still always be "This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For." |
