No comments here? I really like a lot this song. It makes me think about the end of the world, even if I'm not quite sure that it is really what Tony wants to talk about in this song, anyway, makes me think that when "everything fades to grey" :P love and relationships will remain the only last things worth caring about. Forget the world for now, my Love, And live these days with me As if the world wasn't ending... Probably this is not the true meaning of the song. But I like to think about this in this sense. (2012 is getting closer...ehehehe just kidding). S.A.'s songs are beautiful also because they can be interpretated in many, maaany different ways. Sorry for the mistakes..I'm not English! |

It reminds me of another story -I didn't know about that Marcellin story, nor about Tony's friend- written by E.A.Poe, it's called "The oval portrait" and it talks about a portraiter who decide to make a portrait of his love... They stay in a room for days and days without eating nor sleeping cause he wants to keep drawing until the portrait is perfect, and then he sees it, it is really perfect, it seems to be alive, then he looks at the girl in front of him.....and she was dead on the chair. In particular this line "Farewell, my passion, you slowly turn pale" reminds me of that story. This is terribly sad :( And it's quite horrible for me cause I use to make portraits, too xD (Sorry for the mistakes, I'm not English) |
