| The Almost – Never Say I Told You So Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I'm not sure if this is right, but this is my take on part of it: "This is the part where you take, you take your place and I just... Just take mine" - the speaker is used to the person changing that it just seems like their roles: the speaker is just coasting through and waiting for the return and the friend is being fake or whatever. "I've never been so sick of...so sick of seeing you so... you so blind" - the speaker is tired of seeing the friend being so oblivious to what he/she is doing and how people are affectd. "All of these things you offer to, The ones who forget you" -the person the song is about tends to try to impress people who are not really his/her friends "I'll never go, I don't wanna know (I don't need to know) Why won't you stay, your so far away (I don't need to" - the person is leaves the speaker often and seems to be a different person while they are "away" "I'll get you back, cause I've been known for, Seeking my, for getting my, for stealing my revenge" - |

Yeah, it seems to be about a guy and a girl that see each other in the summer, but she lives somewhere else and he's dreading her departure... (eh, this hits kinda close to home right now...) When she's gone, he feels lost and empty. but i like to think of the empty streets line in the Christian perspective as - is it that I have no opportunity to wittness to others or am I just empty and not close to God so i can't see them? anyhoo.
