| A little delayed in reply, but I interpret that line as her having a negative stance towards the smell of coffee because of its connotations. In the context, she's been singing about this monotonous, grinding life that is really difficult and draining: "When your days are long/And lonlier than before" and "When you're tired of working/Like a slave." People may drink coffee just to help them persevere through that kind of arduous lifestyle, so the "smell of the coffee bean" could be read as the necessity someone feels to keep pushing through (although seemingly not by their own will), "it just won't go away" meaning all the weight of their job is always weighing down on them and they can't forget about it. The person doesn't want to have to keep struggling on but they have this constant reminder or knowledge that tomorrow is coming and they'll have to keep going. | |

yep they're the hardest. "I'll put the South pockets gladly" "Let bleed" does fit better than "gladly", it definitely sounds like she sings "let (something)" but I can't properly make out that final word. I will change it anyway, but either I think something preceding it needs to change or "bleed" is incorrect. "Through arms, or maybe under, under you" I've changed it to your suggestion. I know what we said the first two words were are wrong though, it sounds more like "the runs of may be under, under you." Hopefully someone else can figure that one out, or they give us lyrics with the album release. |

lyrics are probably off, i lost the album case with the lyrics in it. but for the meaning: Leroy Bressington: "Yeah, its not actually about the book, I mean I love the book. But the guy who killed John Lennon was reading Catcher In The Rye, and thought it was about him and part of him. I guess its about people thinking something about them when its not. It’s kind of like 2010’s your so vain." |

i hear: 'you pay there you play' 'the math of the day' <-- maybe but could just as well be date 'aim high man why not' instead of 'ditching all the y'holes' it's 'each and all a y'alls' where a is of so swap how you like. instead of 'there's nothin' as dealers and players and me' i hear 'mathematics and dealers and players and me' and i'm almost positive that's right too. 'keep cool form a line' not from also, i don't think he says 'Sun Moon Stars y'all' it sounds more like 'sun moon starry ?" but i can't tell what he says. otherwise pretty good. for meaning i think girog has it pretty down it's just about carnival games and lottery. |
