Leiv Eriksson was a viking in the 1000 and was the first person to discover America. i believe he lived in norway for a long time but was originally from Iceland. i think they named the song Leiv Eriksson because "it's like learning a new language"....and the main person in this song discovers(like Leiv) the reliationsship with a girl(Amerika), then later she breaks up and get together with Christopher Colombus, and then Leiv is nothing only forgotton. "She" is America, the new continent. |
