uhh yea, religion....once again.... I would have to say this song is about how some aim for the end of times, revelation, armageddon etc., because a lot of people nowadays believe the end is near...literally. why would we repent, and beg forgiveness to something we cant see feel or really acknowledge as being real. the whole compass dial thing probably relates to the direction humanity is going we're heading back to the start....hmm i thought it might be referring to war...because thats what nations werelike...built after? or that our greed is holding us down from accomplishing things, aand we're heading back to the start referring to that if we hoard everything tis earth has to offer, then we'll be without the many luxries we have today and essentially start over. but im not sure.(dont hate on me for that one). Anchor and concrete on the roots etc. is probably referring to religion holding us back, make sure youre fucking stuck with it so we do what they want and think what they want us to think, nd concrete on the roots could refer to the teachings of religion, becuase WHOOO DARES TO CONTRADICT, DENY. i think this song SHOULD be taken at face value, he's not talking about just him being decieved, he is deff talking about everyone and how they believes what the media tells them. The lyrics are pretty much exactly what he is singing about and i love how live he says 'the greatest magician returns to steal your soul, i dont believe in him any more' its just epic cause hes throwing that out there. and the greatest magician is jesus, in case you didnt catch that. this is one badass song, i love it, got the tune of pretty heavy music, but the angelic vibe of anthonys voice i love anthony green i love circa survive i love you |
