| The Maine – Color Lyrics | 15 years ago |

They're becoming a tad cliche... and using similar lyrics to artists such as John Mayer especially with the lines We're just trying to find some color In this black and white world. John Mayer's song goes: No I'm not color blind, i know the world's in black and white I want to like The Maine i really do. Some of their songs are just too repetitive. |

| Sherwood – Worn Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| it sounds like it could be about a mother begging her child to recover from an addiction or some sort. and how she is worn from it and that she wishes she could go back and control the situation but she's emotionally and physically tired. | |

Anyone else see the irony in this song? Gasoline and fire ghosts and smoke drowning in holy water ... the list goes on. it's incredible |

This is such a beautiful song! I think it's about him realizing that it's okay to be afraid even though people tell him not to be. Even though people tell him not to be afraid to be alone, and that it's part of life. The part where he says, "There's a place in my head it must be called the super motel I can stay the whole night and think about the girl in her shell" is about how all of his thoughts go around in his head at night like a motel and he's thinking about a girl that is shy? and won't talk to him maybe? Anyway, i think this is a beautiful song and it reminded me that everyone feels insecure and has these worries. it's part of what makes us human. It's alright. |

| The Format – Three's (Demo Version) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I agree with hellahelen. To me, it feels like the lyrics are his thought process as he's walking in Manhattan. He's had a really tough year and he passes by a street performer. I understand this part as him wanted to be that street performer (steal his melody) "cause he hasn't got an answer to force no one cares about his voice" and then he later says how he wishes nobody loved him, just like that man. Then he goes on thinking of how he would end his life and reflects on his life. He mentions a girl Becca whose name also appears in other songs. I'm assuming it was a girlfriend that he had and that he wants her back. When he talks about growing out your hair, i interpret it as waiting things out, and letting time pass. with no split ends, split ends are like friends i don't need them. The prophets i believe are birds on the window and he's making things up on his own. Then he says how he wishes Becca would come back to him. and he just keeps walking until 42nd street until he can't walk any more. | |
