This song means a lot to me. It represents depressing times, cutting off any interaction with the rest of the world. Take note of the 2 vocalists in this band, certain parts of this song can be interpreted as one person being the subject and the other one being a close friend trying to help him. Plunged in bitterness, Seduced by an ocean of disconcertment (Certain events made him depressed and embarrased with himself.) Carrying an everlasting smile with insouciance (Pretending to everyone else that he is okay...)
