Maybe Kim used to accuse Eminem of caring about his work more than her? Referring to the 'all I do is rap' bit.. I don't think it's literally about hating Hip Hop, and Kim.. They're too far apart from eachother, unless it's causing problems for the relationship. I personally think Em's quoting Kim (not in EXACT words) "Fuck you Hip-Hop" And Eminem's saying Hip hop is his life, something he'll never be able to stop doing. It was a nice change to have a song about their relationship that doesn't say Kim's name lol, makes it that little bit more universal.. Excellent song!!! And sooo relatable lol. |

RELAPSE was about his drug addiction "Encore I was on drugs, relapse I was flushing them out" Have you listened to 'De ja vu' and 'Talking to myself'?!!!! YES sometimes songs are a metaphor for drugs, and even alcohol (referring to the song 'Moonshine' but this song is CLEARLY a love song.. He's written about having 'other' love interests before; "Who woulda knew, who woulda thought possibly cupid coulda shoot anothe one of them god damn darts at me" .. And when he said "Almost introduced you to my daughters" COME ON I've been wanting to discuss the possibility of Eminem having a relationship with someone that's not Kim! How interesting!
