I think the word Omegalomoniac, while is not an actual word, is a the combined worf of omega, megalomaniac. I dont think it necesarily a reference to the beginning and end of anything ( Alpha being the begining and omega being the end) but maybe a comparison of the music industry to a pack of dogs. The Alpha Dogs, as in the best, and the omega meaning the bottom, omegalomaniac possible meaning those who THINK they're good but really arent |

i was listening to some of their other songs, and then stumbeled upon ths one and was like wtf? But i liek it, its different.
To me it sounds like a relationship between an alchoholic and his girlfriend/ He doesn't want to quit, and knows she'll eventually end up leaving him. |

I first heard this in a slideshow at my MCJROTC awards ceremony. It was a sideshow of us cadets and everything we did this year.
This year hasn't been easy for us, we've had a death within our program thats been hard for all of us to deal with, we're a family, so it was like our sister had died. But we've gotten through it together, and some parts of this song make me think of people just being there for one another. Though I also get some references to God from this I think o3o |

why i think its right that its not about an aborted baby, and while it coudl be yours i think its about the child we all used to be. The child with so many dreams, full of innocence and dreams. That child is lost, sometimes all too quickly. We grow old to fast, lose our dreams, or innocence, our trust in god and all thats good. It becomes harder to dream, to stay innocent and too trust. i think this song is about trying to find that again. |

| Flyleaf – Something I Can Never Have (NIN cover) Lyrics

We used this as part of a skit we did in our last retreat ( the second part when the person found god was " Savior, please") and it gave me a new out look on this song
I think it could be someone who strayed away from God, who is searching for love, or some strong emotion( gray would be the color if i had a heart. like your having trouble feeling something) but itsnot there. In things like parties sex self-har,But they're starting to find you can't get something from any of that. They're getting desperate, God's calling out to them and their beginning to realize it, but they're still having trouble finding it, that love, or emotion ( I just want something I can never have)They think they can't have it.
If any of that makes sense |

Its a metaphor. We are the wolf, Jesus the lamb. He died for all of our sins. Yet we love him. |
