I find Chris Cornell the best songwriter ever lived, I'm not willing to get into a "what's his best song" discussion, he matured over the years in his songwriting skills and I don't think you can compare older and newer work from him. I like the depressing songs from his "Susan Silver period". |

I love this song, but I can't quitte figure out what it's about eighter. Especially the part "Must promise remember the sixth and the last" makes me think it's one of their more personal songs. I love the metaphores like "Down on the floor, got a closer look at hell You see, somebody pushed me, I just pretended that I fell." |

This song is about drugs (Like a lot of dEUS is). I love the way Tom compares his drug use with sex and makes you think it's about sex. He uses the same hint as in Instant street by using phrases as " I'm blowing", "I'll suck the flame to me" and "Through every crack". Tom and Guy are thru poets I think. |
