@samwalton that song seems more like it's about someone who's insane telling his alternate personality to give him peace, but cool reference to the title though. About the song itself, this was released in 1983, and he married Sharon in 1982, who he claims he fell in love with in the 70s according to his biography, when she helped manage Sabbath with her father. Before they married though, Sharon was in a relationship with someone named Adrian (said to be the S.A. in the song S.A.T.O., the other half being Ozzy and his first wife.) This song is probably the feeling he felt during that time (81 I believe) that he could finally express now that they were together. That's my theory. |

Jeez man calm down. It is true he wrote not on puppets, but he did write 4 of kill em alls songs, 3 of which the entire song, and the remaining was mostly him, and he's only a guitarist. Its pretty crazy how he can write instruments he doesn't use, like on Peace sells, he wrote at least the bassline and guitar. And although he only has 2 credits on Ride, I think he also was the main writer there too, and this is 1-2 years before the album released. |

I knew about the SKOM thing but I didn't know it ran so deep. And Anderson, if you read Dave's biography, Dave was no more alcoholic than the other members. Plus, the fights they had were usually settled quickly and didn't affect him being kicked out. They woke up and said. "Your out of the band" sent him on a 2 week bus ride home with no food or money, leaving him to beg...And about the hangar 18 chords, Dave has writing credits on Call of Ktulu, so he probably was the original writer of both, explaining the connection. |
