I view it as someone is going through a major life event, i.e. deploying to a war zone, moving, ect, and are throwing a farewell party. Person B has come, I fell there was some what a falling out between A and B, and Person A is just glad they came, as the song title implies. |

To me this song is represented in multiple events not just one. I always relate to it about my husband and him leaving for deployments or extended field trainings. Starting off before he joined the army, leaving, trainings and then leaving for deployment and coming home only to leave again. I've heard this song on piano and it sounds amazing. |
