It is NOT about S&M!!!!! He was in rehab when he wrote this it's about the drug!!! Please learn about the band before you go trying to talk about them!!! Why would he write about S&M when he very, very, very, much loves his wife. So just stop trying to talk about the band without knowing squat about them!!! |

| Three Days Grace – Time Of Dying Lyrics

This song show's how Adam was on the verge of losing everything and he was seeing life clear but he was feeling pain as he realized that his life was passing by while he was addicted to the drug. So he was refusing to go down.
But on the other hand it almost seems like how the band was losing everything as their fame died, but they would not die and they would wait for Adam to come back because they felt alive when they were all together. |

| Three Days Grace – On My Own Lyrics

I think this song is about a man, drugs, and a woman. Adam's wife was saying how she's had enough. But Adam still lied about the drugs when he was still taking them. So he went to rehab where he soon learned how to live life on his own. |

| Three Days Grace – (I Hate) Everything About You Lyrics
| 15 years ago

This is one of the only three days grace songs that could actually be about a relationship. Because this is before Adam went to rehab for drugs. It's either about how he hates the feeling of the drug but he just doesn't know why he's so addicted to it, or that he loves a girl but when he thinks about it he hates everything about her. |

This song speaks to me in many situations. Especially with teachers, parents, and siblings. They always try to control you and teach you to do what they did. But this song is about the moment when we stand up and say "You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you!!!" |

| Three Days Grace – Never Too Late Lyrics

The music video means nothing to the song meaning, and I wish you guys would stop claiming every song is about a relationship. This is from the Bands point of view. While they were trying to Adam to go to rehab they were saying how they have done enough for him. And that they weren't going to do something like leave him everything they own and run away just to make him feel like it's not to late to change. |

Okay, I'm going to be completely honest with you. NONE OF THE SONGS ON THE ALBUM ONE X HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH RELATIONSHIPS!!!! Before you try to say what the song means actually look up about the band and song's history. All of the songs on one x that sounds like a relationship is about the drug oxycotton when the lead singer was addicted to it. He's saying how he constantly goes for the drug anyways even though he tries to resist it. Somehow he always ends up taking the drugs over and over again. |

| B.o.B – Airplanes Part 1 Lyrics

I think this song is about B.O.B and everyone else trying to make their dream come true. But it's about luck a lot of the time so whenever he got a chance he could really use a wish right then. But he didn't see any shooting stars so he said, "What can I loose? I'll wish on airplanes." |

A lot of you people should probably polish up on your three days grace history. It is not about a break up, being emo, or what nmunky said. This is about how Adam was addicted the very strong pain killer oxycotton. He's saying that the drug made him feel numb. And that he would rather feel the pain instead of being numb from getting rid of it. |

| Three Days Grace – Let's Start a Riot Lyrics

This song is saying that you need to stop thinking and being said about the hard parts in life. And that you're not alone. That other people feel ripped up, used up, dirty, let down etc. But it's never going to stop that if you don't get up and fight. And that you might fight back a little bit but it's saying how let's start a riot and end all the pain that has happened. |

| Three Days Grace – Get Out Alive Lyrics

This almost seems like Adam is trying to teach someone about drugs. As he tells them that they must run for their life if they want to live before the drug causes serious damage. But he tells the person he's teaching that "It's hard to imagine, but one day you'll end up like me." Because the students are thinking I'll never do drugs and I'll stay away from them it's easy. But the teacher knows that it's so much harder then it seems and that one day they will end up like him.
"If I stay, it won't be long 'til I'm burning on the inside!"
I see this meaning that if they stay with the drugs then they will feel the anger and pain.
"If I go, I can only hope, that I'll make it to the other side!"
I think this means that if they leave the drugs and drama, they can only hope that they can leave it behind forever. And that the drugs didn't already do damage to them. |

| Three Days Grace – It's All Over Lyrics
| 15 years ago

A lot of people think that three days grace's songs are all about breakups. When Adam is married and is very much in love with his wife he wouldn't talk about that. When most of the songs are about drug addiction because it is something he went through that was hard for him. I think this song is about him trying to cope with the drugs. By that I mean him trying to realize that he has an addiction and that he needs help. Because he is about to reach the breaking point where he cannot go on. Thus the name "It's All Over" He thinks it's gone to far and that he's going to be "over". Because he's on the edge and about to fall off. But as the story sinks in, he doesn't want to accept it.
In the song, I think this is one of the band mates talking. How it gets under their skin to see Adam giving in and losing everything to the drug. But I don't know what "Now you trip begins but," sentence means. |

| Three Days Grace – Gone Forever Lyrics
|
To me it seems like he misses the oxycotton that he was addicted to. He says, "I tell myself that I don't miss you at all. Not lying, denying, that I feel so much better, Now that you're gone forever." I'm not saying he wants it back but he is still partially addicted to the drug. So he has to tell himself that he doesn't miss it all, and convince himself that he does feel so much better without.
"Now things are coming clear,
And I don't need you here.
And in this world around me,
I'm glad you disappeared."
I think Adam is reffering to the fact that he has realized that he doesn't have any pain without the drug, and that he truly does not need it anymore. |

| Three Days Grace – Animal I Have Become Lyrics

I think it's more about a person who has hidden their inner feelings and thoughts about the outer world, their anger towards people. But it builds up so much that the person snaps and they just doesn't care anymore. Thus the sentence, "So what if you can see, the darkest side of me!" They've hidden that side for so long but when they turn into the side that they've hated for so long. It's the dark side talking through this whole song. Like in the beginning "I can't escape this hell," It is the dark side talking how it is not able to expose it's true self. But soon when it does, the person is unable to control themselves. Let me know what you think. |
