| My take on the song is that the whole "How to tame a lion" is a metaphor for essentially 'taming' a person. Like thus said, it's likely to be about a boy; perhaps somebody that she wants, yet they aren't the best thing for the other person. As for the line "You know, I liked it better before all of the scars on your chest," could it be that the person is scarred by previous relationships, leading to them perhaps acting like a 'lion'? | |
