I agree with your point of view in regards to the song but at the same time i have a few views of my own. after hearing the song alot . i feel that it could be that he is their for a girl no matter what and their friends but deep down he has very strong feelings for her and that hes saying hed sacrifice everything to see her happy and when he sees her with other guys and how they treat her , his feelings grow strong cause he doesnt think they deserve her. The perception that he would give anything to see her happy is something i see in the chorus sections. and he would take her in any way she came to him as long as she was happy in the end. as for the part with the knife. I think Its refers to when he sees how other guys treat her and the anger he feels towards them. And the ever growning need to protect her. In some sense i feel its his way of telling the person how he feels about them cause he hasnt been able to. i know i used he alot and i know it might sound that im referring to the sing but im just reffering to your point of view... |
