I think this song is just about the tough times you go through as a guy growing up. Lots of hard work, ups and downs, a 'shaken hands with death' attitude. At least thats what I get from it. |

This song loops perfectly with the first song in the album. It feels like you awake from a dream only to start the same thing over again, fitting perfectly with the idea of the monotonous suburbs. |

Really like the song. It is simply about suburban sprawl, monotonous work ("Quit these pretentious things and just punch the clock") and childhood. I have to agree with others who have stated that this is the other side of the same sprawl described in Sprawl I. |
