Worst song off the new album. I am not really sure the best song but this one is the worst. Already sick of it after 10-20 listens. Just don't like the way he talks throughout this song. So corny and basically annoying. Like the album....will pass by quickly......like a tourist.... |

Read the book "Cul-de-sac Syndrome" It really speaks to this song and this album in general. Bowling Alone to a lesser extent but this album really seems inspired by these societal trends. I pitty the person stuck in traffic on a 1 hour comute when this song comes on as their kids are playing soccer across town. Wasted hours contribute to a wasted life. Very inspiring song. |

Many houses but not many homes. Just a place to sleep. Emotionless shacks. The energy/memories/life has been sucked out of what once was. You can't run the streets and have crab apple fights anymore as long as you come home by dark. Things are different and people live very individualistic lifes so nobody trusts anybody else and everyone is too busy to enjoy life and it is passing many...this is the result of having suburb homes inflate from $20,000 - $50,000 to $200,000 to $1,000,000. Different vibe. |
