this is deffentaly one of my favorite songs by far. it kinda helped me realize why my ex had finally broken up with me. i was going through a lot at the time and he was always there for me and i kept pushing him away and finally he had enough self respect to just leave. when he left it opend my eyes that i had changed and i wasnt being myself. even though i figured it out he couldnt stand taking me back because he was afraid. it took me awhile to relize this but when i had it was a great feeling to realize it was ME and not him ( he didnt let me down). he tried but theres only so much a person can take. |

this is a beautifull song. it keeps me thinking. i have a few ideas.. i think he broke up with this girl and shes moving or whatever. he feels that he cant tell her he still loves her because in the end it wont matter. i think another sinario may be that hes talking about and ex or a friend that hes inlove with but is in a relationship with someone else (who he also loves) so hes really confused. he loves her but knows better then to act upon it. maby he wants her to know how he feels but doesnt want anyone else. |

I belive this guy wanted to end the relationship because he knew things had changed and it was time to move on. however, he regrets ending it so badly and wont admit he still cares about her so instead hes going to care for her and not let her know. the first verse i have a hard time understanding... i think he means she was his first real relationship but needs to get out and see what hes capable of... heck lol idk. lovve the song =) |
