Ladytron – Runaway Lyrics 13 years ago
I believe the song is talking about drugs. "Where you gonna sleep today..." many times artists use "sleep" as a euphemism for getting high on drugs. "Where you waking up today..." many times when people are in the throngs of their addiction there is no telling where it will take them.

"Every red eye that you cross makes the next feel serious..." once again, red eyes, getting high, making the next high feel more and more serious.

"Every silver shell that you crush will be enough..." perhaps this is alluding to pills or some other narcotic.

"When you feel like everyone wants to kill the unicorn..." at some point, those around an addict will try to get them to stop their behavior and habit. This "unicorn" would be a manifestation of the addict's fantasy that the drugs are good for their life and the people trying to seek help for the addict seems more like they want to kill the "fun".

Parallels – Dry Blood Lyrics 13 years ago
***You've sold the one
I’ll leave it for you
You’re still the one
Its not the same as you are

***when no ones around
I’ll leave it for you
when no ones around
it’s not the same as you are to me now

***when no one’s around
we might be all the same
no heart with no words
and no ones there to remind us

Those are the corrections I found to these lyrics, taken from Parallels' website. It is a great song. Very simple and hauntingly catchy. I believe the song is talking about a failed relationship as well.
"Dry Blood" - the title, so something got hurt (literally or metaphorically), but a while ago.
"You sold the one...I'll leave it for you. You're still the one...it's not the same as you are." - A lot of times after a relationship people can give away, sell, destroy etc. things from the relationship. Even the emotions, so it doesn't necessarily have to be materials. But even still, after all is said and done, it won't ever be the same again (even if he/she is still "the one").
"When no one's around...I'll leave it for you" - I take this as the singer is stressing the fact that this is all her doing; no outside influences.
"And no one's seeing...we might be all the same...No heart with no words...and no one's left to remind us" - In the end, who is to say who is right and who is wrong? They could have been all the same.

Joan Osborne – One Of Us Lyrics 13 years ago
The song was intended to be grammatically incorrect. Don't you think producers were like "Umm...You wanna keep it like this?"? Songwriters write songs all the time with incorrect grammar because it can give the song a more "common" feel and/or it goes with the theme or song. Ex: Pink Floyd's "Brick in the Wall" - "We don't need no education"

Orgy – Where's Gerrold Lyrics 15 years ago
Obviously this song is referring to the band's friend Gerrold. He makes a quick cameo in Orgy's band movie. I believe Jay Gordon and the rest of the band did a bit of drug usage in their entirety and this song (much like many others) is just a story recollecting one instance with drugs and a particular person named Gerrold. "Rainbow demtentia, Mr.X, the small realities a pixie playland" all seem like references to exctasy. So, perhaps they all got pretty bent with Gerrold.

And like all drugs, after a while of use they can cause paranoia and sickness. "I'm getting sick, I'm getting paranoid". And last but not least, "Find yourself with bright lights flashing", this sounds a lot like the strobes of a police car and a police car + drug use = MAJOR PARANOIA. In the end of it all he is asking Gerrold has he found himself.
