hmm im pretty sure its about a dude who stuffed up (so can you forgive me, i treated you badly, but i am still here), she said she forgives him and will stay with him but really, she cant get over it (youre stuck in the past, and now your screamin) and now her eyes have started to wander onto other people and she's started thinking maybe she'd be better off with someone else the whole time he's hanging around hoping she'll get over it (you know i would wait forever, yes i would wait, i would wait) and they can be happy again but he knows somethings up and isnt sure if he's wasting his time (sometimes i question why I'm still here, sometimes i think I'm going crazy, can you help me understand?)...
pretty sure we've all been there right? shit goes down and you say its all good and you'll stay with them hoping it'll all be okay but really you cant get over whats happened no matter how much you convince yourself that what you've got with that person is comfortable and meant to be... in the back of your head you think the grass is greener on the other side! |

and the synth in the last minute is freaking AWESOME!! i love enter shikari, not many bands out there brave enough to have growling/screaming/singing and synth! :D cant wait to see them in aus in a couple weeks! |

so, the beginning of this song sounds like he's reluctantly breaking up with someone and as he starts, he is tempted to stop and stay with her ('But I can't go back I've come too far to stop') but he has to keep going and break up...
but the end of the song seems to be more about suicide? i hope its just saying that as the break up becomes old he'll just become a memory as all ex's are? i dont like thinking of kenny being suicidal so i prefer that option!
and i agree, this song is amazing, pretty sure its my favourite from this album :)
