I kind of thought this was a junkie song ("murder on the veins") which is ironic considering the straight edge ties of the band, but not really since the song doesn't really come across as pro drug |

Personally I think Darby might've actually been commented on the Gay S&M Leather scene. As a gay male, he was probably aware of this subculture-- in fact, considering he contributed a song, "Lion's Share" to the soundtrack of a movie ABOUT leathermen (cruising), he HAD to have known what it was. I think this song might be about Darby expressing his attraction to Leather/S&M and his repulsion from it at the same time. |

Actually I thought Red Left Hand's idea was pretty ridiculous too, and believed this was an anti rape song, which X may have claimed later. But if you watch the Decline Of Western Civilization, John Doe states that this song was actually a sexual fantasy for him.
