I believe this song is about a guy whose relationship with a girl ended, and they try to remain friends, but to no avail. He talks about calling her soon and catching up, but nothing comes of it. I also believe when Chris says this new diets liquid and dulling to the senses, he is talking about using alcohol to cope with the breakup, He longs to still be with her but obviously they're not together anymore. |
