| The Wonder Years – I Won't Say the Lord's Prayer Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Christians and Lions is a band from Boston, I think. I think this song isn't an "I hate religion or Christianity" song but I think it's Soupy's take on Christianity during his time of depression. I think Soupy is basically saying, "In a time when I needed to get better, I did not turn to religion and I'm glad I didn't because of the 'out dated moralities', the 'billboard that flaunt scare tactics' and the 'gang mentality'." |

| I don't quite understand the 7" line. Does someone give me a hand on that? | |

Hey, ohhmelodies, I know exactly what you mean. The ending instrumental is constantly in my head. As is the intro and end to My Life As Pigeon. The only downside to this song is at the very end...it doesn't resolve...oh well. Anyways, this song is typical Wonder Years. "I'll put my life back together in silence" This is just another album Soupy wrote to feel better. "Suburbia, stop pushing. I know what I'm doing." Soupy is saying, "I'm disregarding what my town is saying about me, my friends, my problems and the problems my friends and I face. We know what we're doing." |

I'm pretty sure, I think it's obvious, that this song is about heroin. Either the use of it, the addiction of it, or just the drug itself. "I fall as the comfort rushes in" - The injection of heroin "Paralyze the light fell from your eyes My hope is faded grey Our wickedness we share" - WiL is saying he had a friend who possibly OD'd on heroin and they shared the needle (our wickedness we share) |

When I listened to this song, I was amazed. I love it. WiL Francis makes many references to past works such as "It's your dead skin and my last sunrise". That's a reference to The Last Sunrise off of Nightmare Anatomy. "Glorify this cemetery vision" could mean a reference to Rain in Hell's We Sleep Forever's music video. "I walk beyond the grave and wait" references I Set My Friends On Fire, I believe. |

| Family of the Year – Chugjug Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think the song is just the band's appreciation for nature and comparing the beauty of nature to someone you love. | |

I think this song is about his girlfriend. Or him being chosen to be a boyfriend out of a few possibilities. You wanted the role Now you're playing the part We're dying to be just like you. Or maybe his friend is now something that the singer envies. Lots of choices for this one. |

| Are the band mates friends? Or just the lead singers? If so, they should partner up. FireWonders would be amazing. | |
| This Time Next Year – Mischief With No Direction Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Honestly, I think this song is about a relationship that has just lost it's...love, maybe. That might not be the best word. But those who listen to the lyrics will know what I mean. It's about a relationship that really doesn't spark as much. There just isn't as much feeling. | |

I thought the reference was to Fireworks' song Detroit "Woah, you don't need maps When you know where the side walks crack." Isn't it that it? |

This song, at least musically, I think pays homage to the Conviction pop-track, "Teen Age Queen". If you listen to both tracks, they both start very fast paced with a very memorable power riff. Then, towards the middle/end, it slows down, and both songs end with their own memorable riff. So yeah. Lyrically, these songs couldn't be any more contrasting. Teenage Queen depicts someone feeling special for just one night, and this is a love song (More or less) |
