I think this song is about a guy that has met a girl, He likes her, but he is really shy to let her know how he feels because he his past relationships were crap.He is basically saying he has fallen in love with this girl and he hardly knows her.. but the distance of love he has for her is daring, but he is willing to take the risk. And every Friday he sees her, is just happy to be around her. . she has became his everything. This is just what I get from this song. Any comments? |

So.. I think this song is about a guy that likes this really popular girl. She likes him to, but maybe he isn't as cool as all her friends? So she puts him down and tries to hide their relationship from everyone. She keeps telling him she likes him and that she will tell her frieds about them later "So vindictive. You'll say anything you like." but she never does. He finalt gets tired of trying to be with her and tells her she is a liar and that unless she tells her freinds then he doesn't believe her "So talk is cheap." She kinda listens to him but ot realy; she tells him she will tell her friends. . but like always she lies. So now he decides he is going to call her out and let her best friends and everyone else know. "Stand a little to tall, say a little to much. Going to bite that know-it-all tongue. You tried a little to hard now I'm calling that a bluff, Big plans are coming udone." So he has just told her friends and they are all asking her and are mad because she has been lying to them. They are telling her she tried a little to hard to hide it and now they can see trough her lies. "That's just typical, you're so cynical. You couldn't have me. I didn't want you. You set yourself up to lose." So now she is begging him back and says she really doesn't care what her friends think but he just laughs and tells her this is exactly what I woud expect from you.. it's typical.. and he tells her she is pretty much a dirty liar. He tells her she can't have him .. because he doens't want her. She set her own self up for that fall. This is just a thought. . Tell me what you think?? Please comment back. |

| I think this song starts out with this guy; he is thinking about one Sunday him and this girl spent together. "Now this place seems fimilair to him." He is thinking of all the good times and bad times they shared. The he starts thinking about how he was so in love with her but she didn't share the same feelings "Even though she does't believe in love, he is determind to call her a bluff." Maybe she did love him, just had to many trust problems to admit it. Now he is thinking about the day she goes missing. He starts callig her family and nieghbors "Waking the nieghbors". He can't find her, the nieghbor suggest she moved away "The nieghbor said she moved away." So he goes to look in her house or where ever she lives.. and he finds a note (Suicide note). "He didn't think mch of it then but ow it is starting to all make since. Oh I can see now, that all of these clouds are following me." Then he starts reading the note. The girl said she isn't coming back (Because she killed herself). She tells him she did something so bad.. referring to hurting herself out of feeling like there is no hope. Then she just basically tells him to get over it. "I'll be blunt now." She tells him she is gone, he can't bring her back; She still has her eye on him but she just can't come back. So as much as he hates to admit it he has to move on and so he does. "Guess I'll go home now, Guess I can go home." | |

Favorite song by All Time Low. I personally think this song is about a relationship between a boy and girl. (No duh ;P) And the boy really loves this girl, he lays awake with her every night, trying to keep his thoughts of her pure. She loves him as well, but is mostly unsure of herself and isn't ready to commut to him; as well the other things he wants in the relationship (intercorse). "Say you'll mean it." So she pretty much lies to him to make him happy and goes through with this.. well now everything is going wrong, because Jasey Rae is feeling that they are a mistake.. And he is making her promises but she really soesn't care at this point. So this guy is getting pretty tired of her lies and her not caring. Well they are suppose to ditch town together "But I took the car and left you to wait". Well Jasey wasn't going to skip toen with the guy.. and he is waiting on her outside in the cold air. Jasey finally realizes she does love him, so she runs to meet him .. and he left without her. He got tired of waiting. This is what I think of everytime I hear it. |

I love this song so much. Eh. The meaning is tricky though. I've read over the lyrics millions of times.. still have trouble with the meaning. It seems like a break up song. About how ppl get in over their heads in love. . or what they call love. "It's coming down to nothing more than apathy I'd rather run the other way than stay and see The smoke and who's still standing when it clears." After you realize that the entire realtionship is a fake, every feeling you had is now apathy of the time you lost on that person. . and instead of waiting around to see what happens in the end; you would rather leave before it gets ugly and see what remains of y'all after the fighting. "I'm losing you and it's effortless." You know that you have lost that person.. even though you are with them, you know that the damage is permanent. Y'all can't turn back and you can't force that person to love you anymore. It's effortless. Just a thought. |

I love this song.. but I think it has a pretty general meaning. I do think it is about a girl trying to run around... but the guy is catching on to her, to fast.. Not that he wouldn't like to maybe get something out of her, he just can't trust her. Therfore he got over her. |

I'm like a super All Time Low fan. My friends all make fun of me because I'm obbessed with them.. but this song really proves why I like their music. They have up-beat music that cheers you up and alot of personality to go along with it. Btw. My favorite line is "I would have married you in Vegas, had you given me the chance to say I do." I've always wanted to say that to someone O_o. |

First off.. I just want to say I really love this song. It's beautiful and I think it has a beautiful meaning as well. I think it's more of s story about how far life can take you through ups and downs. We often lose track of the days and walk around like fools, "I'm a walking travesty, but i'm smiling at everything." Travesty means a fool. I think what Alex as trying to say is that we often find ourself in a bad spot in life, but we can always fake a smile to seem happy, even though nothing is right. I could be totally wrong.. but this just what I think when I hear this song. |
