is it possible that Cedric himself meant "stockholme" and printed it incorrectly, etc? an editor might assume artistic license and pass it over. who knows? then again, its difficult to interpret if even lyrics aren't for sure. i think its best to accept the official version for the sake of interpretation |

Ok, I think I can tie that all together. i think karpkiller's verse by verse interpretation is really good. but i suggest that the kidnapper was in an emotional coma after a loss of his own loved one. he woke up (because he (sickly) filled that void by "replacing" her) and then killed himself; that I think is the parallel to Copernicus. |
