"we stare at broken clocks the hands dont turn anymore" - when someone dies, its like time frezzes. but in realaty its just sliping away. so when they say we stare at broken clocks the hands dont turn anymore they are implying that it feels as though time has frozen and the clocks arnt working anymore. which also comes into ; "the days turn into nights, empty hearts and empty places" which also states that time is slipping away as the days turn into nights. "empty hearts, and empty places" empty hearts because their heart is so broken and shartted because of the lose of their friend and empty places because they feel so alone, such as the quote 'have you ever felt alone in a crowued room. |
