Homeless Heart is one of the most underrated songs in history. I have such a softspot for this song because I know the perfect situation to apply this to. Homeless Heart is about two people. One person who appears so confident and self-assured about who they are in front of the world and another who can see right past the other person's acts. The one person is secretly alone and does not know where they belong but doesn't let anyone know that about them. The other person (possibly a lover) can sense the pain they go/have been through and wants that person to know that they can always go and seek solice to them. The guy who I really like has moved to several countries for his whole life and appears so outgoing and free, like nothing in the world matters. But the truth is that he is reluctant to have close relationships due to moving around and is afraid of being alone. I've moved to another country for some time and know of kids like my guy, who never stay in one place and always leave. In my heart, I feel like I am one of the closest to understanding his loneliness and want him to know that I will always be there for him and care about him when he feels so alone. I'll shelter his homeless heart. |
