A different type of song than typical of Mike Posner but I like it. The song is about a guy figuring a girl out. Every girl is beautiful in their own way. But don’t try to change her and don’t try to make her someone she’s not just to match your high expectations. She doesn’t deserve to be put on a pedestal by a guy who lies about who he is or of what he truly deserves. I think it's accepting the girl for who she is.

I liked the track initially because it's very catchy, but the lyrics made me enjoy it more. I didn't realize it's sort of deep in meaning, which is surprising for a hip hop style song.
The song is about a person who's scared or struggling to fully love a new love interest because they are still dealing with heartache from a previous relationship. All the lyrics about a locked door, unable to find the right keys, and "a safe around my heart" shows how defensive the person still is towards putting themselves out there again, refusing to get hurt again. The person tries their hardest, they just want the other to give them time and understand. |

Such an old 90's song but still good now.
The song is about someone who fooled them self into believing the other had feelings for them. Hence the line, "I didn't mean to fall in love with you...It wasn't love it's robbery." It's that embarrassing realization that all the signs of flirtation were just playful and nothing more. Slowly however, you begin to let go, "Trying to save what's left of my heart and soul." |

This songs can be about a person who's sick and tired of being in the friend zone. They may know it is a mistake to tell their friend how they feel and risk ending their friendship but he or she can't help it. The thought of love is already out there and they desperately want to know how the other one feels. Hence the ending message "and it's never gonna be the same again. my love.... " |

I think this song about believing that love is still worth chasing no matter how much heartache and suffering it has or may cause you. Many times opportunities come unexpectedly. You just have to shake off the negatively or sadness to see it. There's always "Someone, Somewhere" that could make everything all better for you. |

A fairly short but inspiring song of a person who is finally ready to let go of a failed relationship and start looking ahead to better things.
It is somewhat strange to say "I'm gonna find another you" or that "i hope she looks like you" if one is trying to completely let go of a previous partner. However maybe Mayer is saying he better understands what he wants in a significant other and will hopefully find someone who will appreciate his love. |

The great sounds of this track sometimes make you forget the sad message of the song. From one perspective, it's simply a story of two people who realize a relationship is coming to an end for whatever circumstance.
The break up could be mutual but naturally a person protects their emotions by blaming the other side and rarely looking at their own faults. All that is left to do is wait for time to pass until both realize it's time to let go. |

Simply an amazing song.
It's a song of loneliness and lingering heartache from a failed relationship(s). I think it's about the want to love again and putting yourself out there. However the fear of rejection or heartbreak lingers so you subconsciously create a happy, ideal relationship in your dreams. Only when you wake up do you realize nothing was real, "'cause she's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone...." You desperately want to return to that dream where you felt happy again even if it was brief. But only heartache remains. Amazingly haunting. |
