personally, i think this song is about someone ( the singer ) trying to "fix" his loved one or partner who is sick, maybe with cancer or something. if you think about it and read the lyrics with this in mind, it all makes sense. rip patricia i love you<3 |

This song is really straight forward and easy to interpret i think. He's obviously throwing away everything that reminds him of her, pictures and such. She moved on to another man and he's finding out from other people ("I've been getting calls in these hotel rooms, long enough to know that it was him that took my place") The chorus is him just screaming i hope you're happy about how the way things turn out and I hope you like the way things are now cause I'm not coming back, you screwed up ("as even broken hearts may have their doubts"), meaning that even he has doubts about her and doesn't want her back, he's in the angry stage of a break up which everyone goes through at some time. Second verse is just explaining how they both changed, like all people do. He knew that they wouldn't get through it. The part where he says "and you smiled the whole way through it, i guess that maybe thats what's worse." I think is really touching because that does happen in relationships. I think he means by that, that she was out having fun and smiling while he was sitting home heart broken, and he hated that she didn't care because he as hurting so bad. |

| I don't think this song is a sexual thing. Its just that she says "no im never gonna be inside of you" and if its sexual like i dont know, girls can't be inside of guys hahah. I think she means to say that she doesn't want to be inside of him she doesn't want him to understand her, she's playing games. He's saying "i'm never going to see inside of you" because he really won't since she's not letting him. He means "see inside of you" like saying im never going to understand you and love you like he wants to. They obviously have like an attraction for each other in it too but it's not going to be an emotional relationship like he wants, which is odd because it's usually the other way around. He's going to fall and get hurt but she knows that and she's expecting it. I don't know, that's just my interpretation of it :) | |
