I was at the Swell Season show in Baltimore last night (just amazing..) And they closed with this song. Glenn said that this song was about being in love with a person who was getting hung up on morality and getting so caught stuck on their moral standards that they shut out the person who loves them. haha I've come to appreciate the multiple meanings in Swell Season songs. Glen and Marketa are such talented song writers. |
