When I really listen to the lyrics I think that it might be about someone who has suffered a rape and her thoughts in retrospect in how she's been affected. "Cursed upon me, a mustard seed was good enough for him and its good enough to me Pillar of salt, shaker of black Killer of thought, turning my back Believe you were wrong and said they would laugh and I'm trying to be humble about it" The last part about believing he was wrong and him warning her that if she tells someone they'll all laugh at her and how she's humbled and embarrassed by it. I definitely think that this song is about a rape survivor. |

I thought this song was about oral sex. "I watch you taste it, I see your face and I know that I'm alive, you're shooting stars from the barrel of your eyes." I thought he was talking about the person giving him head and making eye contact. |

| Bush – Letting The Cables Sleep Lyrics | 15 years ago |

This song is about Rossdale's friend who was dying of AIDS and their need to talk about it. "Silence is not the way, we need to talk about it, if Heaven is on the way." it's about talking about their friends illness and them dying. "I'm a stranger in this town" is representitive of how Rossdale doesn't know how to deal with this new situation. The music video had nothing to do with the song. They just added sex to make it more interesting. |
