This song definatly caps off the album. As I've said before, in a way this whole album is one giant song. Matt goes through this trouble struggling with the break-up. Both the healing hand and the lion referance definatly refers to God- Matt finally comes back to him and he is restored. |

I jsut got this album, and- IMO- it generally needs to be listened to as a whole. All the songs are related to a single subject, which is rare in albums. As such, you really need to listen to the whole thing to have the entire meaning of each particular song. |

*headdesk* What is with you people who think it's always about girls!?! 90% of the time Mmatt sings about relationships, it's about God. This is in there. Too many Chirstians are leaving God for Sunday. Here, Matt promises that he's taking God with him everywher ehe goes, spreading the good newss. |

| Relient K – Five Iron Frenzy Is Either Dead or Dying Lyrics

First off- I love this song. it's hillarious.
Second- I fail to see how K's slipped away or improved. Okay, so they have matured- if anything, MMHMM is proof of that. But their originals were good too. Wake Up Call- on their first album- is one of my favorite of their songs. And Anatomy and Two Lefts also have a great mix of hillarity and seriousness. One of my favorite aspects of Relient K is that even through some humourus songs they can have a serious message. Another thing is that the messages are often subtle. You can like the song just for the song, and then see the meaning and like the song a lot more.
And Five Score wasn't a bad album- mind you I only have half of it. |

InToThEaIrWaVeS7-11, actually Thiesson's from Canada. Not sure about the others though.
I live in Canada, and I was thinking along the same lines. Of course, cnetering around Narnia gives the name a lot more sence, but other than that it makes little difference IMO. It's an amasing song. |

I really liek this song. And I have to agree, the use of 'damned' is in the good way. Don't you hate how our language has been twisted to mean all sorts of sick and terrible things? But really, the message is great, the song is catchy, and it's the best on Five SCore and 7 Years ago. |

Like a lot of the songs I didn't originally like on this disc, this song grew on me. I didn't really like the screamo-ish part, but other than that this is a great- and funny- song. It takes me back to Two Left Don't Make a Righnt... but Three Do, where the serious message is underlayed through the humur. The chorus is absolutly great, and so is the bridge. 'death and decay can't touch us now' Great line! Tahis song shows how we go through tough times, but in the end, it'll be worth it, as there's 'life after death and taxes' |

| Relient K – Which To Bury, Us Or The Hatchet Lyrics
| 15 years ago
|
Sheesh you peopole are terrible. Relent K is a christian band, not some terrible group who's songs are all about girls and girlfrieds. When Relient K talks about realtionships, it's about GOD. Most of this is God speaking to someone about their resistance. "I tried to move you, but you just wouldn't budge, i tried to hold your hand, you'd rather hold your grudge.' God reaches out to you, no matter what stage you're at. Every once and a while it switches to the other person, who responds with something along the lines of 'it's your fault.'
When I first heard this sogn I ddin't really like it. But the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me- like most of mmhmm. The album is so masterfully crafted. Ii love it. |

| Relient K – My Girl's Ex-Boyfriend Lyrics
| 15 years ago
|
You guys have completely missed the point. Let's look at the bridge, were the truth resides...
If it wasn't for him, I would still be searching
If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't know my best friend
If it wasn't for him, he would be able to see
That if it wasn't for him, he'd be as happy as me
This part makes sence of the song. The ex-boyfriend started dating this Christian girl, and dumped her. Matt Thiesen (Or whoever it was) then started dating her. This guy was looking for more than a girl, however. The girl told him about God, and he then accepted Christ. As such, he 'stopped searching' and 'knew his best friend.' This song shows how God works sometimes. Some people have to lose for others to win. That's what this song is talking about. |

| Relient K – Let It All Out Lyrics

This is literally the best song I ever and have and ever will hear. That isn't a joke.
It's the ultimate song, IMO. It talks about love, forgivness, acceptance.... it's like the whole Bible wrapped in one song. The first half of the first verse is kind of like what happend most of the Old Testiment. You have to 'rip out or remove' the sin in your life. Not exsactly sure about the second half, but I still like it. The chorus is sort of like what Jesus told the diciples. The second half is sort of like Acts and parts of the Old Testement, pressing on even through the pain.
Man, I can listen to this over and over again... |

| Relient K – Be My Escape Lyrics

This is one of my favorite songs ever. Ecpessially by RFelient K. Which is saying a lot. It has SO much, it's hard to list it all. I like the music vid, with the compressing room. I don't recall any girl in it, but it's definatly not about a girl. The thing I hate is when people think Relient K songs are about girls. The only one that's about girls is Mood Ring! The others are about God! My favorite line in tbhis song is:
"And this life sentance that I'm serving-
I admit that I'm every bit deserving
But the beauty of grace is that makes life not fair."
So good! Of, course, there's so much more, but that just sticks with me everytime. MmHmm is an incredible album, IMO. |

Though I agree, there are a few songs on there I don't like. My sister only borrowed the disc and downloaded a few songs (I may get the whole one, if only for Crayon Can mlt on Us for All I care) Lock The Windows, Why Don't You, I Need You or So I'm taking you With Me- I just haven't eben a big fan of heavy rockish songs. |

I likehis song as well. It's got a good message, and almost catchy. i've seen people who don't get the first line of the chourus "In the hands of God we will fall.' It's basically Yoda speak, Fuhler's saying that we will fall into the hands of God, ect. |

This is the pure definition of randomness. The first time I listened to this was on windows music player. I noticed the big gap after Jefferson Aero Plane, and was curious. I jumped ahead, and was startled by a loud Pepproni! From there I was continusly laughing at all these random jumps. I love the Worst Rapper Ever, bit, I shoed it to my friend and he totolly lolled. I agree, the No man, you're done, always gets a laugh from me. But my favorite thing from this is definitly the Silly Shoes thing. Ii thought it was finally done... then jumped when I heard "Snakesss...." |

I believe this is song still relates to God, look at the last five lines. 'I hope the new me shows' clearly means that he's accepted Christ and hope that it shows. And the last three lines says that he needs nothing but God. So here's my take- he had a relationship that wound up with a bad ending. feeling lonely, he started to go back and forth, until he found God, and realisewd that was all he needed. And of course, it's got a fun ending. |
