This is about him helping a friend with a drug addiction. On a person level, this was recommended to me by a friend who wanted to help me give up self harm, which in its self is an addiction. It makes me think of our friendship because the lyrics at the beginning "You Got Me Through The Days,When I Thought I Couldn't Face It" relate quite closely to our relationship, because I've helped her through some stuff. This song is so beautifully written. |
