The Beatles – Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) Lyrics 15 years ago
Her house was not actually made of Norwegian Wood, but that was a popular thing at the time. Paul and John wanted the character (the whole thing is loosely based on an affair John had) to have his revenge. So the "I lit a fire" could be interpreted in many ways, but it's meant as he burned the place down as revenge.

The Beatles – I'm Looking Through You Lyrics 15 years ago
This song has been confirmed by Paul as being thinly veiled as being directed towards Jane Asher, who was away all the time, thus the line, "I'm looking through you, and you're no where!"

The Beatles – Dig a Pony Lyrics 15 years ago
Well to those on here attacking other users comments saying they're stupid, is pretty stupid to begin with. It's all interpretation and opinion. But, John Lennon has said himself that the song is nonsensical and not to be taken seriously. Elusine has had the best answer on here I've seen, because that's precisely what it was. He was practically improvising. So, no, it doesn't have a clear cut meaning.
