Who gives a shit if people are throwing around names? Faggot, moron, fuckface/dicktard/mofo, so what? Its the internet, people do this all the time, actually giving a shit that someone called you a name on the internet is stupid and pointless.
So just get over it and get back to the song and what it means to you.

Anthem of the Angels is about his grandfather, it seems painfully obvious to me anyways. Dear Agony is about Ben struggling with illnesses that he's had for a long time which just wont go away and how's he has to deal with them. This is the only song that I've ever heard Ben Burnley actually explain the meaning to. |

woah, nice catch there, I never thought of the whole album as a story, but that makes a lot of sense and its put a whole new spin on this album for me. I noticed the dedication to ben's grandfather as well, but I just assumed that Anthem of the Angels was the only song about his grandfather(that one's just obvious).
I do know that Dear Agony is about Ben's illnesses that have been with him for a long time which just wont go away and him dealing with it(I saw him say this in a video, or maybe I saw him leave it as a comment on shallowbay, but its the only time ive ever heard Ben Burnley explain the meaning to any of his songs.) |

I like your interpretation the best. I've been looking up a bunch of these song lyrics/meanings for Breaking Benjamin and everyone song has a ton of interpretations involving a girl/relationship. I like the ones that people come up with that are about something else, like yours =D |

Why does everyone think that everyone of his songs is about a girl?? I get that you can interpret these songs anyway you want but not every song is going to be about him and a girl(if that were so then Ben would be kinda fucked up)
But anyways, I saw an interesting comment on youtube on a video of Water by BB that said he thought that this song was a conversation between Ben and God about his drinking problem. I think this is the best explanation of this song and I like the idea. |
