Okay, so I think that this song is about a girl who recently had her heart broken. "She fell to the bottom of her life This wasn't meant for two She struggles to find herself in time But she can barely move"-She's trying to move on and find out who she is without the person who broke her heart but she doesn't have the strength. "Just try to get up You gotta slowly brush off I know that words aren't enough But you're better than this"-The narrator is telling her that she has to move on. He knows that his words don't make it any easier, but she's not as helpless as she's acting. "Save your heart For someone that's worth dying for Don't give it away ...Never getting what you've been crying for It's always the same"-He's saying that she needs to save her love for someone that deserves it. She never gets the love that she wants so badly, it happens to her all the time. "She turns the pages every day Just to change the mood But every chapter reads the same It's so hard to make it through"-This is my favorite part of the song because ive been through this many times. She lives life day to day, hoping things will get better on their own. But in the long run, nothing changes, she's still heartbroken. |
