Nick Jonas & The Administration – Vesper's Goodbye Lyrics 15 years ago
I have never see any of the Bond movies, so I found this extrememly interesting and it gave a whole second meaning of the song. :) Which of course, Nick always does with his writing! He is truly amazing!

Jonas Brothers – World War III Lyrics 15 years ago
How naive and arrogant. You obviously aren't very open minded to what he is actually saying. Either that or you aren't even a fan.
Who cares about his previous relashionships?! The song is suppose to relate to everyone, and everyone is suppose to make it fit to their indiviual stories. Otherwise Nick would have said "Selena, there's only one side fighting"
This song may have been inspired by a certain person, but it relates to people in general even though he is using a girl as an "example".

Jonas Brothers – World War III Lyrics 15 years ago
"Now you're rounding up your army
Turnin' all your troops on me
Tellin' lies just to feel happy
But I won't retaliate, no"

Nick is obviously saying that someone got ticked off at "this other person" and now this person is telling lies to try and make the "other person" look bad. But the "other person" just ignores it because he/she is the better person and doesn't want to look foolishly anymore. And if you all know what we retaliation is? It isn't very nice, and is actually extrememly foolish and child like.

Ok, Nick wrote this song. Sodo you know what this means? Medaphor! I ca't stress it enough! Is he mentioning a girl? Well yes. But that may not be the only thing he is referring to. This can relate to people in general. Trust me, I should know.

Nick Jonas & The Administration – Conspiracy Theory Lyrics 15 years ago
@TheFancyKid It was inspired by Aliens. ;) lol! That isn't what it is actually about. You have to remember, Nick uses medaphors in all of his songs. So really we may never know the actual meaning behind his songs unless we know him personally.

"Why we need to live in fear
Knowing that the threats are real" I think this can relate to a relashionship or to life in general. He is pretty much saying why do you want to live in fear when you can already predict what is coming? A fight/war brueing would be a great example! "World War III" can actually be conected with this song as well. ;)

"Conspiracy theory
Gonna make you shake
Don't hit the brakes
No time to waste now"

Meaning, just because something is going on, don't let it slow you down to keep pushing forward now matter how bad things, or this world, is getting.

"Like it or leave it
Better hit the road
'Cause the world as we know it
Gonna fade away now"

Meaning, get out or away of the mess you are, or about to get into or everying is going to change and be ruined. And obviously, the world as will know it one day we fade away. So this entire song can be about life in general, or a relashionship. It just depends on how you look at the song personally. Nick writes his songs this way to allow us to give our own stories to them! Which I think is absolutly amazing and genius! :)

Nick Jonas & The Administration – Rose Garden Lyrics 15 years ago
Ok, even though I am sure this song was indeed inspired by Selena, there are other out there who have had the same experience. And Nick knows this and wants to be an inspiration to those people, so he took Selena's story and wanted to get it out there so other would know that they aren't alone.
The song itself is pretty self explanatory, but I personally love this line.

She was young, but not naive
Always wise beyond her years
Hoping that no one would see
Every time she dried her tears

Meaning, she may be young but she is very mature for her age and carries herself well. And she wants to be smart and hold herself well and prove that no one has to worry about her,, even though she may shed a tear every now and then, she can handle herself ad doesn't want people to pity her just because of something that may have happened in her life. Again, this verse here could relate to any girl who feels this way! Beautifully written by Nick! Just brillant! :) He is the one who is wise beyond his years. ;) lol!

Nick Jonas & The Administration – Olive & An Arrow Lyrics 15 years ago
"She leaves me hopin'
That my love won't show
'Cause I know she'll give me
An olive and an arrow"

This one is for sure one song my family and I can relate to. See,the thing with Nick's songs, he uses medaphors so the song can have 2 or more meanings to it. He might be using a girl as an example, but really it can be about people/life in general. With these lines he is trying to say that he needs to becareful of who he shows his love or kindness to in fear he will be lied to and used, and then hurt by that person once all is said and done. It just pretty much says right there in that verse to becareful who you trust or who you show your love to as far as people in general. My family once decided after a personal experience, and I quote: "We just need to becareful of showing people our caring nature's." As we will help any one, but many times have been hurt in the end by those people. And that is sad because it is very hard to trust anyone in this world anymore, and I think that is what Nick is trying to get at!
This song is truly amazing! <3

Nick Jonas & The Administration – State of Emergency Lyrics 15 years ago
I believe Nick recieved his inspiration from a past exsperience, but I believe he worded it to, indirectly, mention the Bible.

"She's seductive, she does it well. She'll charge you by the hour for a straight trip down to hell" "I should warn you of that I know"

"Her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold of hell. Lest you ponder her ways of life. Her ways are unstable, you do not know them." Proverbs 5:5-6

Nick is, and his family are s very religious family, so some of his songs may mention the Bible indirectly. ;)
