I'm pretty sure, based off the English lyrics, that this song is about Bill and Tom's dad leaving them when they were 7. He says, "Go, try to lose the two of us. It will only go on for us when we don't see each other anymore." I believe that's him telling Jorg to just leave him and Tom alone, that they can't really move on from the pain and all from the separation if he doesn't just go. That the end there is the bitter irony of Bill telling his dad to go, but then he tells him to stay, because no matter how much he knows that its painful and that his dad's like breaking up the family, he still loves him and wants him to stay with them. That's just my opinion, though. Each song can be interpreted differently by different people. The only sure way to know exactly what it's about would be to ask the boys, themselves. |
