| Neurosis – Takeahnase Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Someone actually asked Scott on his Facebook profile about meaning of that word. He said that he made it out. | |
| Neurosis – The Doorway Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think that the ending is about crucifixion of Christ - Lightkeeper. When I came with that idea, I realized that this apocalyptic riff starting in 3:20 sounds like nailing the nails. Anyway, whole album is very spiritual. |

| Neurosis – Prayer Lyrics | 15 years ago |

There's connection with Buddhism conception in this song. You can clearly see it at the end. We are souls trapped in our bodies. My fate anew = reincarnation. |
|
| Neurosis – Falling Unknown Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It's about being happy and then being in trouble wrote in a great way. The narrator describe someone who is unaware the troubles that waits for him. | |
| Coil – It's in My Blood Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| About being stoned? | |
| Coil – Amethyst Deceivers Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
It's about death, it's pretty obvious. We should be aware of that we are all going to die, and we should appreciate life. And we were born to die. Anyway, "Pay your respects to the vultures" is the best metaphor of death I've ever heared. |

| Coil – Heaven's Blade Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think it's about how pain gives you strenght and crucify your ignorance to be ready for reaching some higher states of conciousness: "Inside the wound I found my wings, And walked away from this human skin". "Just cut yourself With Heaven's blade" - They are not emo, they show us, that pain is productive and improve our souls. |

| Neurosis – Origin Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
One of the deepestand most creepy songs I've heard. I think it's obvious that it's about some change in your mind. "A wild and wounded beast I stand inside the sun", "I shattered my curse and spread it through the land" - you used to be bad person without any rules and now you see the truth, something that reveals your nature, something improtant for you. You want to change yourself in the name of that. There is a slight mistake, I think he is singing "My heartless memories flood my mind", not "My heart...", "The clouds are looming to remind me of the judgment passed on my soul Acid stars have scarred my mind and left me as a ghost" - you are someone new, after change, but you are lost and can't find your way in this life, some bigger part of you is still that beast you used to be. "Nameless lights pull me into a reflected psychic black hole" - pain you made through change your point of view at things. That's my interpretation. |

| Pink Floyd – High Hopes Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
First, it's about childhood and growing. You get more excited of things when you are a kid. Everything you do makes you happy. You are convinced that even your boldest dreams come through. Year after year world start to become less coloured and less carefree, example: To a life consumed by slow decay The grass was greener The light was brighter With friends surrounded The nights of wonder Second, Your dreams that didn't come true when after you grown up. You used to have a visions of what you will be when you grow up. You believed it's true, that it's going to happen, but then you opened your eyes and came back to reality, totally different than in your've seen in your mind: To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again Dragged by the force of some inner tide At a higher altitude with flag unfurled We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed-of world Encumbered forever by desire and ambition There's a hunger still unsatisfied |

| Pink Floyd – Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2 Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The Wall is conceptual album, so this is probably about teenage riot. It's about to oppose the education which seems to you when you are were young that it's your slavery. | |
| Pink Floyd – Interstellar Overdrive Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Yeah, it's great. There are much more covers of this song. Pearl Jam did one, Melvins and Electric Wizard. | |

| Pink Floyd – Eclipse Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| For me it's about your dreams. You have a great vision of your future, but you can't achieve this. Something is disturbing you: "everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon". It may also means that everything in the universe is one and the same. But the universe is somehow disturbed. | |
| Neurosis – Under The Surface Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
That makes sense, next song "The last you'll know" Is about that judgement. "He is the last we'll know, mercy for you(...)All our crimes trial waits everyone(...)To guide us through terminus..." If you take these songs individual, I mean non conceptual, it's much more harder to interpet it. |

| Neurosis – Away Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Depression. | |
| Neurosis – Stones From The Sky Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I read somewhere that this song was inspired by Tanguska mystery. And that would fit. | |
| Neurosis – Through Silver In Blood Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Such an atmospheric song, probably the most clear one, that symbolize the war. Until 2:43 the war is getting started. When the heavy riff comes - the war just begun. In 7th minute forces withdrawed, quiet before the storm, you know. In 7:15 they starting to using weapons of mass destruction. Everything keeps being destroyed, people are slaughtered. That noise at the end is counterpart of nuclear explosion. | |
| Neurosis – Purify Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Yeah, these bagpipes is the best things they could use in these song. I totally feel it. | |
| Neurosis – Burn Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| For me it's about being in some difficult situation. You want to retake something or someone that was important for you, but you are idle. | |
| Neurosis – A Sun That Never Sets Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I believe it's about some inner transformation. A man is thinking about past and concludes that he's totally different than he used to be. The blood symbolize this change. He seems to be same, but inside he is different. | |
