I'm inclined to think this song is generally about addiction too, though talking specifically about cocaine (though it could admittedly be about any drug that comes in powder form). This is obvious from "Line 'em up and suck one down with me" a clear references to chopping up and snorting lines of coke or whatever. It refers also I think to the general madness that addiction can slowly induce, such as paranoia and increased agression: "I can't think with you staring at me, I'll smack that look right off your face" It seems also that the protagonist of the song admits that his addiction is a way of escaping normal life: "I don't wanna think, I don't wanna breathe" |
