Wow! People need to broaden their horizons when it comes to music. But I have to say I never heard of them until Chino Moreno of Deftones played it in a podcast he did for itunes, and I have loved it ever since. Deftones have always made amazing ballads, but this one hands down is at the top. I evokes so many different emotions and makes your imagination go wild about what this song could possibly mean to him. He is amazing at this. I have a strange fantasy about this song: Ice skating to it. I don't know how and have never tried, but if I did, this would be the song for my Olymipics performance!! It's so graceful and dreamy, it's perfect for it. Just a dream!! |

This can be found on their B sides and rarities by the way. I love love love the Cure and Deftones so when I was watching this on VH1 when it first aired, I almost about shit my pants!! Just kidding. But I was very happy to see that they were able to do it, with Chino being such a big cure fan. I think they did the best job of a Cure song that night. All of the cover they do are amazing. How do they do it. God blessed them with such musical talent and blessed Chino with that one of a king voice. |

This song reminds me of my dad who I lost to cancer in 1996. He like the song and he was not gay. It makes me think of a day my family went to Disneyland and he sat at a bench and listen to a live band play this song. He was bobbing his head to the music and just looked so happy. That was before he know he was sick. This song and this moment got me into Jesse's songs, and that how discovered what a good singer he really is. It's funny how music creates a soundtrack to our lives. |

Wow, I can't believe this song is so unknown. I absolutely love love love it and looked a certain version of it for years, then came upon it Music Trader. It was an old used copy of JUST SAY YESTERDAY, a compilation that also had "Kiss me with your mouth" on it. That's the only 2 songs I knew. This was of course before things like Itunes and downloading music. It's when you actually had to go out and search for stuff. Because of all of this, I hold this cd and song very close to my heart. |
