As lovely as this song may seem, if you listen to it close enough, its about a loser who can't get over some girl who screwed around one too many times.. I think its about someone who was in love with somebody even though he probably should have just not bothered with her in the first place. He then takes revenge by getting back at her by perhaps killing himself to make her feel guilty? "I was told to stay away Those two words I cant obey Pay the price for your betrayal" (could be friends or family warning him about the girl that he should just stay away but he couldn't resist her so he got hurt in the end) "Is it my turn to die? My heart is pounding as I say goodbye So now I dance in the flames I love you crying and screaming my name" "So here we are, Im in your head Im in your heart!!!" (basically, the guy's saying fuck it, i'm checking out. I hope you regret what you did) At least that's what I interpreted it as =/ |

I always personally thought that this song had to do with someone having deep feelings for somebody but that person never shared the same feelings towards him or her. "I've givin' everything I need I'd give you everything I own I'd give in if it could at least be ours alone I've given everything I could To blow it to hell and gone" especially in this verse: "Want to make it understood Wanting though I never would Trying though I know it's wrong Blowing it to hell and gone Wishing though I never could" friendzone perhaps? |
