Why wasn't britney spears blamed, that what i wanna know, they had her album, if remember correctly, the only thing of manson that they had was the dope show EP and that was that.

No Lucifer is the name of the angel of light that got kicked out of heaven for rebelling, like with all things, he got demonize by the church. The devil as ya all know him came in th 19th century when the worship of pan was abundant, so the church did their demonizing again, the image of the so call devil in popular culture is that of baphomet.
