I think it's kind of stupid in general when people say stuff like, "Oh, they were high when they wrote this." You have no idea what their mental state was when they wrote this. I'm not sure if you've seen their interviews, but they're just really creative/crazy pretty much all the time. And look, don't get me wrong-- I know they do/have done a lot of drugs, and they very well may have written this song while high. I just think it really cheapens the song to say, just because it's a bizarre song, "Oh, they were definitely high when they wrote this." |
