This is also my opinion. To add to that, the line "stillborn, by choice" means that we are born to die, and yet we're never ready. The old man fades, but leaves his beloved behind asking her to not give up. Her time will also come and they should be together again. "Where joy should reign/These skies restrain" Means that they are being sepparated by the sky/heaven. |

This song is about homosexuality. Someone has a fake hetero life, pretending to his girlfriend, friends and family. And the singer doesn't aggree to keep this lie hanging around anymore, and is trying to encourage the subject to blow it all open showing him the consequences of keeping it running any longer. My 2 cents. |

In my view, this song is about falling in love with someone who lives in another country and timezone. And this person visits your country and you have only a set amount of time to be with each other until God knows when. - a polaroid pose for a postcard - only had one night to dream together, till you're flying - if we could brave the nasty weather For me this is about this person visiting your town/country - 402, how lucky for you (4:02 AM) - even though the morning rise was full of our eyes For me this is about different time zones - would you look down here? - i'll write, you'll write And this is about keeping contact after this person went back home. I'm living this song right now, as in my interpretation of it. I hope the ending to my movie is not bound to be tragedy. |

This song is about knowing you are doing your best at something you like and yet have to face criticism and opposition form others, including loved ones, like "addy" and your parents. You give your heart and your sweat to something, and you lose friends while doing so, because you're not around. He sings he had hope and dreams while planning, but it turned out to be harder than he expected, but he gathers strength to go finish what he started. His efforts are still not taking him where he wanted to be... painting floors, while the other bands are doing much better... naming the stars. He could move on with his life as others tell him to do, and go live a normal life, with a family and kids to put into bed. But he thinks he's a kid himself, with such "star" dreams and a lot to learn before he could consider giving up. And while he's abroad, he has some dates, while still loving "addy". Finally, those bitter feelings of regret and rage give place to meaning when he's doing what he's supposed to do... going up on the stage to touch our souls. This song is pretty much general. Sometimes when I feel down about some broken relationship I feel like it's about some childhood love. He loves a girl he grew up with, and although they dated sometime in the past, it didnt last longer and he stills feel something about her. And he says he keeps a diary cuz he remember everything up till now. When I'm ok, I just feel like he's talking about drugs. He did some drug, and quit but still have some just in case. So he uses, feels bad and curse it, but always come back to kiss it again, and think it will always be this way. |
