Pendulum – Different Lyrics 15 years ago
After the chorus, the lyrics sound more like "You've been talking from the heart. Saying that I have been away from life."
Also I agree that it's "black heart" the second time, and "back out" the first time.

Anyone else care to actually comment on the meaning, and not just lyrics? To me, the lyrics point to a girl who is clearly depressed, not in the best of situations, and that it's only getting worse. The singer's point of view is that the girl must ignore everyone who she feels will judge her, and escape the situation rather than just hiding all her troubles away. The chorus seems to point to this, suggesting that the singer is helping to escape with her, saying they're going to a 'different place', i.e. they're getting away from the rest of society which was responsible for the girl's problems to begin with. They must escape from it quickly though, as it will only get worse ("We're sinking in the sand").

Pendulum – Watercolour Lyrics 15 years ago
I personally agree with the general theme of isolation and going through trials, horrible events, etc. However, I think because of the "feed the fire" parts, combined with the final verse "Just stay where you are. Let your fear subside. Just stay where you are. There's nothing to fear.", that the song really does lean towards a saving grace, positive outcome/message. Along the lines of at first you question whether you're alone or not, but after you persevere and fight on, there is a light at the end of the tunnel showing you that you don't have anything to fear, that you are going to be rescued.
